India Gospel League invests an enormous amount of effort and resources into its children’s ministry. We do so with the conviction that the next generation of leaders will change the course of South Asia’s history! Already, we’ve begun to see the fruit of this focus – as children become youth, who go on to become leaders in their churches and communities.

The news reports are full of encouraging statistics about India’s economic progress. While this is true indeed, there is also a huge segment of the nation’s population that still lags behind in poverty. Those who suffer most are children. Their lives will not get any better, nor will their future be any different, until urgent and intentional steps are taken for personal and cultural transformation.

From our perspective, touching a child’s life with the gospel makes a difference in their spiritual, physical, social, economic and psychological well-being. The whole of a person’s character, understanding, self-worth, and vision for their own future is changed when Jesus is introduced!

Our children’s ministry programs are focused on holistic care for thousands of children, including Christian discipleship and even leadership training. The challenge is enormous – not just in the individual lives of the children (the difficulties they must overcome) but, even more, considering the sheer number of poverty-stricken kids in South Asia today. Millions of children need access to education, clean water, nutritious food, medical care and, above all, the gospel. I urge you to pray that God would strengthen our hands as we reach out with His love to these precious little ones. Your support is making a difference, and I am grateful.
