While my country is focused on economic progress and industrial growth, in my view, millions of India’s children are lagging farther and farther behind. This is the heart-rending reality of human prejudice, intolerance, and indifference!

Sadly, even as I write this article, a well-established Christian organization has been forced to withdraw its outreach to children in India. An estimated 150,000 children, in various parts of the country, have suddenly lost support! At this juncture, their future is uncertain. Please pray with us that God will make it possible for IGL to step in and help at least a small number of these struggling children.

There is so much that goes on in this world that is dark and discouraging. But every time I look into the eyes of a child, I see a ray of hope, and it dawns on me that God has not given up on humanity – so neither can I. That is the reason we continue to tirelessly reach out to the children in our nation. Through its children’s outreach, now named “Love One More,” IGL is touching the lives of close to 8,000 children each day, through education, children’s homes and compassionate care.

Someone has rightly said, “It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men.” Sure, it may be too difficult or even impossible to go back and attempt to set right all the wrongs in the world we live in. But there is a way to make things right for the future: by investing in the lives of the future generations. This is an opportunity that God has given us now. We must not fail to seize it. While I am thankful for your faithful support, I also pray that the Holy Spirit will move you to ‘love one more.’
