Pushing the Pause Button
A Prayer for YOU.
July 31st, 2019 by kmcvaney | | Posted in Field Updates
Come to me, all who are weary and burdened…
and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. Matthew 11:29 NIV
Because you faithfully pray and support us, this week we are pushing the pause button and taking time to pray for you. Our prayer for you:
Father in Heaven,
—Listening to “My Heaven Song” (by Phil Wickham), and thinking about all of us with you, Lord.
We thank you, Father, that your yoke is easy, and your burden is light. Help us to learn exactly what You, Father, want us to learn. Maybe it’s about fear, trusting, being brave or being obedient in the small behind the scenes kind of things. Help us all learn from you.
Summer can take on a life of its own. We hope for adventure, time with friends and family, hopefully, time to rest. It goes by so fast and all too often we don’t find adequate time to really rest. Thank you, Father, that we can find true rest in you. We can be refreshed and renewed by your power. We pray that for our brothers and sisters in Christ. Refresh and give them your rest. Renew their joy please, Lord. Revive their hope in You.
We thank you, Father, for our family of supporters and sponsors—those who stand in the gap for the people of India. We pray that they would see you leading them in their lives, in work and in decisions, that you would give them wisdom—please open and close doors according to your good and perfect will in their work, marriage, family and or areas of ministry.
We are so thankful that we are seeing families come to know Jesus in India because of the many prayers and support from our sponsors and donors.
Lord, please strengthen those who are single and shine brightly in their lives and in their families. Strengthen marriages. Those with children—from the little ones to the adult children—please bring them to a saving knowledge of Christ, that they would understand your goodness and follow hard after you.
Father, please open the doors for blessings to flow into their lives. We pray that they will continually see your provision and sovereignty reign in their lives. Thank you, Father, that you are trustworthy and true and that your arms of love are wide enough to cover and care so tenderly for each person. We praise and thank you, Father.
In the Name of Jesus, we pray, Amen
We are so thankful for you and will continue to pray many prayers on your behalf.
