“My name is Vijayan. I had severe stomach pain and went to a nearby private hospital for diagnosis. The doctor found that I had a cancerous tumor and told me that I needed to have surgery immediately.

I would have to pay up front 200,000 rupees. I was not able to pay that huge amount and was very discouraged.

During that time I learned of IGL’s Sharon Hospital and its services. I called them and explained my situation. I met with one of their doctors and they admitted me and took me into surgery immediately. The tumor was removed. After the surgery, my health improved day by day. Despite being in poverty, I received excellent care from everyone at Sharon Hospital and all of the treatment was free of cost.”
